Set 23. Prints on its own sheet.

  1. 1.1. Soft feather edges make the wings quiet, so the mouse cannot hear the owl coming. 2. It turns its whole head, because it cannot move its eyes side to side. 3. Each paragraph explains one owl body part and what it does.
  2. 2.1. Up the stem to the leaves. 2. It says roots do two jobs, then explains each one in turn. 3. The roots spread wide under the soil and hold the tree in place.
