  1. 1.1. Sam liked hitting his drum hard, his teacher asked him to play softly, and it sounded better when he did. 2. Because Sam was hitting the drum too hard. 3. It tells us when the band practises and what Sam played.
  2. 2.1. Maya found a green glove, put up a note, and after three days the boy with the other glove came for it. 2. Because it was small. 3. The boy arrives with the matching glove, so the pair is complete.
