  1. 1.1. No — they keep walking and the gate and tree appear where they should. 2. Fog hides everything and moves with you, but it lifts and the world returns. 3. Fog hides the hill, wood and sheep, the walker can see only ten steps, and as they walk the gate, tree, wood and hill come back.
  2. 2.1. Rain is everywhere and goes on and on, but it ends and the sun returns. 2. Rain falls on the roof, road, window, roses, gutter and drain until the puddle is deep, and then the sun comes out. 3. A long time — the puddle has grown as deep as a lane.
