Rain on the window, rain on the pane,

Rain in the gutter, rain in the drain,
rain till the puddle is deep as a lane.
Rain on the roof, rain on the road —
and out comes the sun for the slow brown toad.

2.1. This one has a speaker who says "I"; the rain poem has no person in it. 2. It has a beginning, a change and an ending — the rain stops and the sun comes out. 3. Both are about weather in verses that rhyme, and both end when it clears — the sun comes out, the fog rolls off.
