Where Rain Comes From

The Sun warms water in lakes and seas. Some water goes up into the air. High up, the air is cold. The water makes tiny drops. The drops join to make a cloud. When the drops get heavy, they fall as rain.

Building a Nest

Many birds build a nest in spring. A bird looks for twigs, grass and moss. It carries each piece back in its beak. The bird pushes the twigs into a cup shape. Soft moss goes inside. Then the bird lays its eggs in the nest.
