Circular From the Weavers' Union

A circular sent to members by the weavers' union during the same dispute, 1893. TO THE MEMBERS OF THE UNION The owners ask a shilling in the pound from wages already low. Their profits last year were published at 12,000 pounds. We ask every hand to stand out from Monday. The relief fund holds 340 pounds. That is nine days. Signed, the committee.
