  1. 1.1. The kite gets caught on the very first day, so the whole story is about getting it back. 2. He tries three different things one after another. 3. The kite is down and Rana admits she did not know it would work. 4. Trying something new is worth it even when you are not sure it will work.
  2. 2.1. It says the crow had flown for hours without water, so finding the pitcher matters. 2. She is patient — she kept dropping pebbles even though each one raised the water only a little. 3. The neck of the pitcher was narrow and her beak could not reach. 4. A pitcher with water at the bottom.
