Holding the Soil Back
Results from pouring the same jug of water down four model slopes in a tray. SOIL WASHED OFF THE SLOPE Bare soil .............. a big pile washed down Soil with grass on top .. hardly any washed down Soil with a stone wall ... a small pile washed down Soil with a plastic sheet . none washed down, but water ran off fast Same jug, same slope, same soil.
